Biography

Postgraduate Researcher / Graduate Teaching Assistant

Shivangi commenced her PhD in 2022 on a YLS studentship. Her thesis focuses on the constitutional law judgments of the Supreme Court of India and charts the evolution of the design of judgments over the Court's history. Alongside her research, Shivangi works as a GTA on undergraduate courses and has also served as the Editor-in-Chief of York Law Review for 2022-23.

Before joining YLS, Shivangi worked as a lecturer at OP Jindal Global University (India) where she taught undergraduate law modules on Contract Law and Criminal Law, while also serving as an Assistant Editor for Jindal Global Law Review.
