Sam Pegram Human Rights Placement Award

This award celebrates the life and honours the memory of Sam Pegram (1994 - 2019), an alumnus of the LLM in International Human Rights Law and Practice who died tragically in the Ethiopian Airlines crash in 2019. We remember Sam as an exceptionally bright student, a humanitarian committed to meaningful fieldwork, and a profoundly kind soul.

The award recognises Human Rights Placement project outputs that shine through their commitment to reflexive human rights practice, seeking to centre the needs and voices of research participants.
