Biography

Marianne Sönksen joined the Languages for All team as a part-time tutor of German in October 2016.

She has been a language consultant with over ten years of experience in relocation, intercultural and sales training as well as in technical translation. Marianne has also taught intensive immersion courses.

She holds a first-class honours degree in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) and studied at universities in Hanover, Sheffield and Perpignan. She also studied marketing at Hanover Business School.

Marianne loves nature, especially the Alps (rock climbing) and dogs (especially reading dogs). She has a keen interest in emotions as SLA enhancers and cognitive science.
