Biography

Gemma joined Languages for All in October 2019 as a part time tutor of French.

She studied French and European studies at the University of Wolverhampton where she obtained a BA Honours Degree. She then qualified as a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages at Thomas Telford School under the Graduate Teacher Training Programme with the West Midlands Consortium.

Gemma has taught French in a range of schools, in both the state and independent sectors in Shropshire, Yorkshire and London. She has twenty years experience teaching French and some German at a range of different levels.

Her teaching approach is methodical and supportive. Gemma provides grammatical grounding and focuses on building a wide bank of vocabulary.  She encourages her students to develop their understanding and mastery of the French language.
