"As a polyglot and educator, I can’t speak highly enough about the efforts that higher education institutes like York give language and linguistics students to ensure the knowledge and experience they receive is put to good use in the job market and beyond.” - Thomas Giles, LLS Alumni
“Our annual alumni event is a fantastic opportunity for students in our department to learn about the wide variety of possible careers that a Linguistics or Languages degree opens to them. For myself and colleagues, it's also really rewarding to invite our graduates back and to hear about the wonderful things they've been up to since their time at university.” - Dr George Bailey, Lecturer in LLS and Careers and Employability Coordinator
