Knowing about Language in final four for UK Literacy Association prize

A new book, Knowing about Language, edited by Marcello Giovanelli and Dan Clayton and published by Routledge, has been shortlisted for UK Literacy Association's 2017 Academic Book Award. Only three other volumes have been nominated for this year's round. The department's Sam Hellmuth contributed a chapter, which is aimed at English teachers at secondary school level.
