Catherine Laing (one of our recent PhD graduates) and Richard Ogden featured on Stephen Fry's Fry's English Delight programme on BBC Radio 4. They talked about onomatopoeia, sound symbolism, and related matters.
Sam Hellmuth, meanwhile, appeared on Radio 4's Word of Mouth programme, talking about the diverse functions of intonation in spoken language.
