The Department of Language and Linguistic Science, in collaboration with the University of Manchester, is hosting a group of 40 European Parliament interpreters on 25 July 2016.
The EU group are visiting northern England to learn about the region's cities, its economy, its links with the EU, and the various accents and dialects spoken in this part of the country. University of York staff will deliver talks in the historic King's Manor, and a tour of the historic city centre will be provided for delegates in the afternoon. We look forward to welcoming our EP guests!
