Géraldine Enjelvin, Associate Lecturer in French / French Team coordinator for Languages for All, has had an abstract accepted for the 2016 conference of the Society for French Studies. Her paper is entitled 'France and the Harkis' memory: The "harkaeology" of a culture of victimhood?'. The Harkis are the Algerians who fought with, rather than for, the French army during the Algerian War of Independence (1954-1962).
Well done, Géraldine!
