Introducing the Behavioural Activation Connection and Legacy Hub
A way for researchers, mental health professionals and other organisations interested in Behavioural Activation therapy to connect, learn, and collaborate.
The Behavioural Activation Connection and Legacy Hub (BA CLub) is an initiative led by the University of York in collaboration with Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. The initiative is open to other universities, NHS Trusts and charities that have supported / are supporting staff and projects in Behavioural Activation. The group provides virtual and physical opportunities for the discussion and dissemination of BA research and best practice. Our goal is to promote the widespread, cost-effective deployment of BA therapy across the NHS, the UK and internationally, to benefit the widest possible range of patients in need.
Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust and the University of York have engaged in a number of National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded BA research programmes with numerous partners over the last 10+ years, drawing on over £7 million in research grant funding.
