IGDC is leaving X

As of March 2025, we’ll no longer be posting on the @York_IGDC X (formerly known as Twitter) account. We’ll keep the account - but we have stopped posting on there so please don't message us there as we won't see it or be able to see it or respond. 

We’ve taken the decision to leave with some sadness as we’ve really enjoyed our time on the platform, when Twitter was good it truly was a fantastic community to be a part of. Thank you to everyone who interacted with us over the years. 

Where can people get updates about IGDC now? 

• You can check our website for recent news, events, blogs, and everything else that we’ve been up to
• If you’re a University of York academic, you can become a member and be invited to join our members mailing list
• We also support postgraduate research students through our PGR IGDC Members network
• If you’re an external supporter, you can stay up to date by joining our newsletter
• We’re now on BlueSky under @igdc.bsky.social
