The impact of contested decarbonisation on peace

Tuesday 9 July 2024, 11am to 12.30pm

Speakers Claire Smith, Susy Williams and Joshua Kirshner will be sharing preliminary results and insights from a pilot study for the World Peace Foundation & US Institute of Peace. The research explores what has or could happen when carbon revenues rapidly diminish in conflict affected areas and when peace settlements are dependent on those carbon revenues.
