During the webinar, the IGDC will launch a new paper that builds on insights from the Decolonising Development Research Podcast and existing literature. The paper explores the challenges and opportunities of decolonising research through the lenses of three key themes that our speakers will also be discussing:

  • Decolonising Research Impact: Ensuring research benefits Global South societies and reflects their interests.
  • Decolonising Research Methods: Incorporating diverse epistemologies and methodologies beyond traditional European frameworks.
  • Decolonising Research Partnerships: Fostering equitable collaborations between Global North and Global South researchers.
