What we can do for you

Pre-award

• Provide access to previously successful grant applications
• Provide expert advice on funder regulations and processes (e.g. eligibility criteria, application and submission procedures etc)
• Check project budgets to ensure they align with funder regulations as well as University of York internal policies regarding travel, inflation, full economic cost, VAT etc and enter costs in Worktribe
• Coordinate input from internal and external collaborators, including match funding and letters of support
• Check all documentation and use funder online portals to submit applications

Post-award

• Assist with the contractual elements of awarded grants, including setting up awards, managing contracts and submitting financial reports
• Answer queries on funded projects and liaise with the funder regarding project changes such as extensions, suspensions and amendments to the research activity
