HRC Summer Research Celebration
Event details
Calling all Arts and Humanities Staff, Doctoral and Postdoctoral Researchers!
On Tuesday 20 June at 3pm, the HRC will hold a celebration of the achievements of our community over the past year. The main event will be held in the Treehouse and will last for around an hour and a half, following the really successful model we had in Summer last year. Afterwards we would like to provide an opportunity for members of the community to get together socially, where we will serve wine and nibbles.
Tell the community about your research successes
We want the event to celebrate all research achievements among our faculty (academic staff, postdoctoral and doctoral researchers). These may be successful grant applications (big and small), other research projects, knowledge exchange and impact activities, and recent publications.
So if you have done something research-related that you want to tell the community about, let us know about it and we will try to include it in the programme. If you’d like to suggest someone for us to approach, who might be a bit reticent, please feel free to do that too! Contributions which feature external partners are also warmly welcomed.
We envisage that each slot will be a maximum of 3 minutes long, but your contribution can be in whatever form you wish - for example:
- A single Google slide about your achievement (e.g. an image of your book cover, a short description of your project), to be shown as part of a slide show
- A live presentation
- A pre-recorded presentation
- A musical or theatrical performance
- A poster presentation
- A combination of any of these, or something else!
If you’d like to offer a contribution, please complete this Google form.
Once we have the programme ready, we will circulate an invitation to the event to the whole community.
We look forward to celebrating with you.
