HRC Postgraduate Induction 2023
Event details
The Humanities Research Centre (HRC) would like to invite all new Arts and Humanities MRes, PhDs and Postdocs to our Postgraduate Induction!
The Humanities Research Centre is the hub for research activity across the faculty. We support interdisciplinary initiatives and the postgraduate research community through a series of events and a unique training programme open to all postgraduates in the faculty. We offer a welcoming and inclusive community within our wonderful building!
What to expect at the induction
At the HRC Postgraduate Induction, Professor Richard Ogden (Director of the HRC) will welcome you to our community. Professor Jonathan Finch (Deputy Director and Faculty Lead for Postgraduate Researchers) and Megan Russell (HRC Support Officer) will guide you through everything there is to know about our community and how you can join in.
The induction will take place in the Treehouse, which is located on the first floor of the Berrick Saul Building. If you're unable to attend in person, don't worry, we'll be streaming. After the induction, there will then be an opportunity to meet and chat to other Postgraduates from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, over a light lunch provided by the HRC.
You must register your attendance by the end of Wednesday 27 September. In-person spaces are limited, so be sure to book if you don't want to miss out!
