The History of Art department is delighted to announce its Research Seminars for the new academic year. 

Wednesday 4 October  - Dr Richard McClary Senior Lecturer, University of York, Fakes and Forgeries in the Islamic Art Market: A Study of Three Problematic Pieces.

Wednesday 18 October - Dr Eva Frojmovic, Associate Professor, History of Art, Director, Centre for Jewish Studies, School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies University of Leeds, The Hebrew Stones of Basel: Appropriation and Melancholy after the Black Death.
