Languages for All Bursaries

Applications will open on Wednesday 23 November at 9am for the Department of History Languages for All Bursaries. These bursaries were established with the aim to provide funding to support students (both undergraduate and postgraduate taught students) in order to enable them to study a language alongside their History degree. The bursaries are available to both Home and International students and cover the Languages for All short courses tuition fee. Candidates will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please note that only students from courses administered by the Department of History are eligible to apply.

Timetable and application process

Deadline: 5.00pm on Monday 9 January 2023 (when registration for LfA courses closes). The Department reserves the right to close the form early if we receive a large amount of applications.

Please note that reimbursement is dependent on full attendance of the course. Attendance will be confirmed with LfA by the Department.
