York Academic to spend year at Nazarbayev University

David Moon will spend a year in Kazakhstan, teaching various courses in Russian, Eurasian, and transnational history.
David Moon, Anniversary Professor in the Department of History at York, is spending the academic year 2018-19 as a Visiting Professor at Nazarbayev University (NU) in Astana, Kazakhstan.
David is a specialist on Russian, Eurasian, and transnational environmental history. At NU he will be teaching courses in his wide-ranging areas of interest at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
