Professor Bhattacharya, director of the Centre for Global Health Histories, will join the advisory panel for the 5-year touring exhibition about the sun
Revealing how the Sun has fundamentally shaped human life and the world we live in, the Science Museum’s exhibition will explore the diverse ways people throughout history have sought to understand and harness the Sun. It will open in South Kensington in 2018 to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the discovery of helium by Norman Lockyer and the launch of two solar missions: ESA’s Solar Orbiter and NASA’s Solar Probe Plus.
