For the spring term of 2023 the History of Art department will be running three research seminars on the theme of LAND.
These seminars will think through the way in which art and visual culture has intersected with land use.

Giulia Smith – Cosmic Hinterland: Aubrey Williams’s Ecological Vision, Wednesday 1 March 2023, 4.30pm. In person and online.
Hannah Williams and Meredith Martin - Colonial Networks: Mapping the ‘Paris’ Art World in the Plantations of Haiti, Wednesday 8 March 2023, 4.30pm. Online.
