Well done to PhD student Midori Kono!
Midori has been successful in winning a Student Exchange Support Program scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization. The substantial award will support her as she conducts her research for her thesis 'Descriptiveness and Decorativeness: The Style and Reception of Full-length, Life-sized Portraits by James McNeill Whistler' under the supervision of Professor Elizabeth Prettejohn.
Warm congratulations to Midori!
