Our second Islamic Art History Research in Progress seminar is taking place on 4th November at 2pm in KG07.

Title: Before Nizam al-Mulk: Towards a reconstruction of the Abbasid and Buyid phases of the Great Mosque of Isfahan (c.767-920 CE) through archaeological evidence.

Dr Andrea Luigi Corsi, of  the University of York and the DAI in Berlin is presenting this seminar and he will be speaking about the stucco excavated in the Friday Mosque of Isfahan.
