Quality assured
YTU is a UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) registered trials unit. Funders such as the National Institute for Health Research recognise this status; it reassures them that our research will be robust. In addition, we are a specialist surgical trials unit and cardiac trial centre.
Adaptive and innovative
We have taken our expertise and knowledge gained from our trials in the NHS and adapted it to other health settings. We have designed and successfully carried out trials in collaboration with organisations such as the police, the criminal justice system and schools.
