Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) activities have been part of the Centre’s work since its foundation in 2017. One of the first activities carried out by the Centre was the first Research Priorities Project.
Since then, the Centre has formed the Family Advisory Board (FAB), worked closely with young people with life-limiting conditions, and embedded PPI work into every project it has conducted.
You can learn more about specific PPI activities by clicking on the relevant tabs on the PPI page.
“We are sure the collaboration has contributed to an improved quality of life for children and their families” — Steve, FAB Member.
For the 2021 Martin House Research Centre conference, our FAB members produced a video that explained why Patient and Public Involvement is so important for research.
