This interrupted time series feasibility study will be used to explore how a brief problem solving intervention can be employed across four different offender populations in UK prisons. The project will engage with female, adult male and young offenders at risk of suicide and self-harm behaviour helping them to improve their own problem solving skills and cope with ongoing problems within everyday prison life. The project is funded by the Research for Patient Benefit Fund through the National Institute for Health Research and is due to start in March 2014.
