A family of Cochrane reviews: drug treatments for offenders
This series of four systematic reviews represents a comprehensive overview of the current literature on the effectiveness of drug treatments for offenders. The four reviews represent 77 trials divided into four separate reviews focusing specifically on pharmacological interventions, non-pharmacology interventions, interventions for female offenders and offenders with co-occurring mental illness. The project was originally funded by the Department of Health and the reviews are currently under editorial review by the Cochrane Drugs and Alcohol Group.
