Biography

William completed a degree in Internet Computing at the University of Hull in 2004 and joined the Epidemiology & Cancer Statistics Group (ECSG) in 2007. William’s role of Web Developer / Systems Integrator involves the development of software systems and the management of data, to support ECSG’s research, alongside supporting the wider ECSG network and computing systems.

William specialises in the development of web-based systems using .NET/ ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, CSS / SCSS, Vue.js, JavaScript / JQuery and SQL. He is involved in the design and development of websites and databases, and the management of data, for many of ECSG’s projects and collaborations (including HMRN, MDS Europe, YHHN and VIVO Biobank). As well as developing custom desktop applications to support research.
