William completed a degree in Internet Computing at the University of Hull in 2004 and joined the Epidemiology & Cancer Statistics Group (ECSG) in 2007. William’s role of Web Developer / Systems Integrator involves the development of software systems to support ECSG’s teaching and research alongside supporting the wider ECSG network and computing systems.
William specialises in the development of web bases systems using ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, CSS / SCSS, JavaScript / JQuery and SQL along with Java for cross platform desktop applications. He is involved in the development of websites and databases for many of ECSG’s projects and collaborations (including HMRN, MDS EUROPE and YHHN) as well as developing custom desktop applications to support research and teaching.
