Liam's PhD project has used a mixed-methods approach to systematically review the impact of psychosocial interventions for siblings of children with life-limiting conditions. The project will also involve an in-depth qualitative exploration of adolescent siblings' needs and lived experiences of support, so that stakeholders can better develop and facilitate future support. Liam hopes to use the experience of his PhD project to inform a career involving children and young people.
Liam's research interests revolve around children and young people's mental health and psychological wellbeing, particularly interventions that aim to ameliorate mental health and innovative ways of understanding young people's experiences of wellbeing.
