After completing his medical training (MD) at the University of Indonesia in August 2010, Darius worked as a general practitioner in Indonesia for 2 years. He then worked as a research assistant in University of Indonesia and Ministry of Health for 6 months as well as working as an intern in the Office of Special Envoy of President of Republic Indonesia in Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for 5 months. Darius completed his Master of Public Health (MPH) at the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University (USA) in May 2014 before starting his PhD in October 2014.
Darius’s main research interests include: Global health; health economics and health insurance; health system in developing countries; policy evaluation using cross-section and panel data.
