Rebecca has been a researcher in the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group since 2013. She is currently working on research projects in the field of work-stress. One project, called EMPOWER aims to develop an e-health platform to promote wellbeing and prevent common mental disorders in the workplace. Rebecca has also developed research looking at delirium in palliative care settings, specifically the use of screening tools. Prior to this, she worked as a researcher on the PANDA trial; comparing the use of antidepressant medication with a placebo in patients with depression or low mood, to find out who might fully benefit from its use.
In 2017, Rebecca completed her MSc in Applied Health Research at the University of York.
Rebecca's research interests include interventions for mental health problems and work-related stress, and the identification, prevention and management of delirium.
