Profile

Biography

Megan qualified as an Adult Nurse from University of Leeds in 2017. She worked as Staff Nurse and then Deputy Sister on the Haematology/Oncology ward at York Hospital, where she trained in chemotherapy administration, triage and undertook the role as nominated student lead. Following this, she has worked as a Practice Placement Facilitator in South Tees NHS Foundation Trust supporting students within all practice placements. Megan has a passion for improving health and wellbeing in the workplace, trained as a wellbeing coordinator and developed "Wellness Wednesdays" for students at South Tees.

Megan is currently studying to become a Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA) and has joined the Practice Learning Link team as Associate Lecturer in June 2024.
