Biography
Matt did a Trinity TESOL in 2004 and subsequently taught in Turkey and Vietnam for around ten years. He has worked at the British Council, RMIT University (Hanoi), the University of Sheffield, and has been at the University of York since 2017. He is now an academic skills adviser for postgraduate programmes within the Department of Health Sciences.
He has a particular interest in systemic functional linguistics and socio-cultural models of language development.
