Biography
John is a Learning Technologist who works as the Deputy Student Services Manager with responsibility for the Educational Technology portfolio and leads the Educational Technology Team.
He provides specialist technical and techno-pedagogical support for the adoption and use of technology in Departmental teaching at all levels with a focus on three main platforms: Blackboard Virtual Learning Environment, PebblePad (e-portfolios) and Oxford Medical Simulation (clinical virtual reality training). He and his team are responsible for management and administration of these platforms and for delivery of in-depth training to staff, students/ learners and external practice partners.
John also represents the Department at relevant internal and external e-learning fora.
