Christine Godfrey is a health economist who has studied economic aspects of tobacco, alcohol and illicit drug use and the evaluation of policies to reduce their harm. She has contributed to a number of national and international policy initiatives. She was a past president of the Society for the Study of Addiction and awarded a honorary fellowship of the Society in 2009. Christine's research interests include the economic aspects of addictive behaviour, specifically smoking, drinking and illicit drug use and the evaluation of policies to reduce harm from their use.
