Biography

Emily is currently a researcher on the impact of flood events on maternal health. She has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and is an advocate of community-based participatory research.

Emily holds a BA in Philosophy, an MA in International politics and an MSc in Psychology and is a member of the British Psychological Society.

Emily has previously worked on an Ebola vaccine trial at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine based in Sierra Leone, has worked with Voluntary Services Overseas in Papua New Guinea as Programme Coordinator and has been a Trustee of charity working with the local community to document rainwater harvesting techniques in the Rajasthan desert. Emily has also trained with the NHS as a Clinical Associate Psychologist, working in the areas of Psychosis and substance misuse.
