Dr Hardy said: "I am very proud to have been awarded the title of Queen's Nurse, and to have had my commitment to patient care, nursing practice and leadership acknowledged in this way. The award offers me further opportunities to link with community practitioners throughout the country via regional and national networks and will support my work as I continue to positively impact on patient care through education, research and leadership.”
