First Aid At Work

The course runs for three days, Monday 28th November - Wednesday 30th November.

The course equips you to provide first aid for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries.

It covers the following topics:

• HSE Emergency First Aid At Work (this enables you to give emergency first aid to those who become ill or are injured at work).
• The role of the first aider
• Resuscitation skills
• Bleeding and blood loss
• Health and Safety
• Common medical emergencies
• First aid boxes

Certificates validated by the University of York are given on completion and are valid for three years.

The course runs from 28 November - 30 November 2011.  Places can be booked via the Online shop or by contacting Judith Stockdale.  Places are only available to those residing in the UK.
