As part of the 2015/16 fee setting process, the University has introduced a Graduate Loyalty Discount scheme for previous Home, EU and International York undergraduates progressing to PG taught masters studies at the University of York.
Fees for Postgraduate free-standing modules
Our complete range of postgraduate freestanding modules are open to UK/EU students wishing to cover their own course fees.
For 2023/24 our fees will be as follows:
- £2,800 for all modules worth 40 academic credit points
- £2,100 for all modules worth 30 academic credit points
- £1,400 for all modules worth 20 academic credit points

Fees quoted will be for the year study begins and subject to increase in subsequent years. The University reserves the right to alter the fees.
International students from outside the EU are not eligible to apply for our postgraduate freestanding modules as they do not comply with UK Border Agency requirements for a Student Visa because they are classified as part-time programmes.
