Profile

Biography

Rosemary joined York Trials Unit in 2024.  She is a medical statistician and researcher who comes from Bristol where she worked with clinical colleagues in the NHS advising on study design and funding streams and working on NIHR funded projects.  She has experience of supporting clinical staff in many clinical fields and has good links with NHS trusts in the South West.

  • MSc in Medical Statistics and Information Technology (Leicester)
  • BSc in Mathematics (Leicester)

  • HAMLET - A multicentre, two-arm, non-blinded, pragmatic, parallel group, randomised controlled superiority trial assessing the clinical and cost effectiveness of Through Knee Amputation (TKA) compared to Above Knee Amputation (AKA) in patients requiring major lower limb amputations (MMLA), but who are unsuitable for a Below Knee Amputation (BKA).
