Biography

Oliver is responsible for the financial management of the Department’s research projects and oversees the research proposal submission process. He provides administrative support to the Department’s Principal Investigators, both pre- and post-award.

Oliver is the main contact for financial advice and coordinates financial administrative support to research groups including finances, budgeting, and the management of the financial aspects of personnel employed by the group, eg recruitment, staff contract extensions or renewals, fixed term contracts, and open contracts.

He provides information and advice to the Head of Department and Deputy Head of Department on the strategic planning for the Department. This information is also fed directly into the Department’s performance review and medium term planning process.

Qualifications

• BA (Hons) in Economics and Public Policy
