Biography

Liz graduated from the University of York with a first degree in Psychology in 2002. She then went on to work on a large-scale dementia project at the University of Newcastle. Liz subsequently completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of York in 2007, before joining the research team within Lime Trees Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in York. Liz took up her current post in adult mental health and clinical trials research at the Department of Health Sciences in 2011.

Overview

Liz's research interests lie in mental health (adult and child), particularly psychological interventions and relapse prevention interventions for common mental health problems; perinatal mental health; clinical trials management and methodology; and dementia (cognitive functioning/quality of life).
