Biography
Laura joined the York Trials Unit in July 2019. She previously worked at Sheffield Clinical Trials Research Unit which she joined after completing an MSc in Statistics at the University of Leeds in 2014.

Research
Overview
Laura's research interests include methods for handling missing data, analysis of cluster RCTs and trials with clustering by health professional and design and analysis of diagnostic accuracy studies.
Projects
- HAMLET - A multicentre, two-arm, non-blinded, pragmatic, parallel group, randomised controlled superiority trial assessing the clinical and cost effectiveness of Through Knee Amputation (TKA) compared to Above Knee Amputation (AKA) in patients requiring major lower limb amputations (MMLA), but who are unsuitable for a Below Knee Amputation (BKA).
