Biography
Jude has more than 20 years of experience in coordinating and managing a variety of large scale randomised controlled trials in both primary and secondary care including those in the musculoskeletal, wound care and addiction fields. As well as being involved in the day-to-day realities of running trials, she has experience of many trial aspects, including recruitment, methodological issues and design.

Overview
Jude's interests are in recruitment to randomised controlled trials; trial design issues; podiatric research; addiction and mental health research.

- BART II - An RCT to evaluate the effectiveness of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for individuals who meet the criteria for being at risk of developing bipolar disorder.
- DIAMONDS - An RCT of the DIAMONDS Programme investigating the clinical and cost-effectiveness of the DIAMONDS intervention (diabetes self-management programme) for people with severe mental illnesses (SMI) and type 2 diabetes
- FARSTER-Care - An RCT investigating whether, following cardiac surgery with full median sternotomy, an accelerated cardiac rehabilitation pathway will lead to improved patient outcomes and is cost effective compared to the usual timing of cardiac rehabilitation.
