Biography

Frances joined the University in 2019 in the administration team at the York Management School (now the School for Business and Society) and has also worked as both PA and HR Coordinator during her time there. Following two secondments in Student Administration and Academic Affairs (Special Cases and PGRA), Frances became Administration Manager within the Department of Health Sciences in November 2022.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Faculty Operations, Frances manages the Department Support Hub, which provides support to colleagues in all areas of HR, space management, events, Health & Safety, procurement, and servicing departmental committees.

Her background is in primary education with a specialism in language teaching, and she has worked in primary schools across York and Leeds between 2014-19 before making the switch to HE.

  • BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS
  • TEFL/TESOL certified
