Biography

Avril works within the Student & Academic Support Service Team, predominantly in the department’s Clinical Simulation Unit (CSU). 

Avril is responsible for supporting the activities, teaching and learning in the CSU. For example, the preparation and participation in high fidelity simulation in both technical and role play aspects, recording scenarios, assessments and procedures, preparing manikins and equipment, administrative procedures, maintenance, facilitating sessions and biological substances. 

Avril holds a job share with Chris McGlynn and works part time (Wednesday 12:00 - 16:30, Thursday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30).
