Biography
Ada is a lecturer and researcher and has been working at the York Trials Unit since 2012, with previous experiences in quality of life studies in oncology at the University of Leeds. She is teaching medical statistics on a number of the postgraduate modules and supports the design and analysis trials and other research studies. Ada has a specialist interest in the statistical issues surrounding orthopaedic trials.

Research
Overview
Ada's research focus is on the analysis of randomised controlled trials, especially longitudinal trials of orthopaedic interventions and associated statistical issues.
Projects
- ACTIVE - This is a multicentre, pragmatic randomised controlled trial that aims to obtain reliable evidence of the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of internal plate fixation versus external frame fixation for pilon fractures of the ankle in adult patients. It is funded by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment Programme.
