New appointments to Centre for Future Health Steering Group

The Centre for Future Health Steering Group has two new members: Dr Mark Jenner, Research Champion for Culture and Communication, and Professor Yvonne Birks, Deputy Director of SPRU. Mark and Yvonne join existing Arts and Humanities representative Sandra Pauletto (TFTV) and Social Sciences representative Sarah Nettleton (Sociology).

Deputy Director Kate Pickett said: ‘we are delighted to welcome Mark and Yvonne. We strongly believe that in order to make the greatest impact in the area of health it is vital to think beyond the scientific and the clinical and draw on the insights and complementary perspectives of social science and arts and humanities scholars’.
