CFH @ The Proposition: The past, present and future of health
Event details
The workshop explored some of the rich range of ways in which the arts and humanities can contribute to both scholarly discourse on health, wellbeing and the body, and positively influence understandings, behaviours, practices and policy-making outside academia.
Two invited external speakers, one from the World Health Organisation and another from Yorkshire Sculpture Park, gave their perspectives on the contributions that the arts and humanities can make to the fields of health and wellbeing. The session also introduced the various ways in which CFH can support researchers in these disciplines. The event started with a networking buffet lunch and there was also an opportunity at the end to carry on conversations informally.
