Understanding relationships between the environment and health is a growing area of research in our Department. We aim to develop expertise through collaboration across departments to influence emerging policy and practice in the UK and abroad.

Our research is identifying the opportunities and challenges of natural environments. We consider how different people share the risks, benefits, costs and control of interactions between humans and environment.
